1. Who we are
WorkPin (“the service”, “we”, “us”) is a web application made and run by VipzLab. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) apply to everyone who creates an account or uses the service. By creating an account you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy.
2. The service
WorkPin helps service businesses record customers (including an optional map location), plan and complete works, keep notes and photos, track stock, create invoices and receive reminders. Features may change or improve over time.
3. Free service and future plans
The service is currently provided free of charge, with all features available. We may introduce optional paid plans or paid add-ons in the future (for example for very high usage, team features or extra storage). If we do:
- we will give at least 30 days’ notice by email and inside the app before any change that affects you;
- you will never be moved to a paid plan or charged automatically — a paid plan starts only if you choose it and complete a checkout;
- you will always be able to export your data, whether or not you choose a paid plan.
We may set reasonable fair-use limits (for example on storage or number of photos) to keep the free service running well for everyone.
4. Your account
- You must give accurate details and be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority where you live).
- You are responsible for keeping your password safe and for everything done under your account. Tell us at vipzlab@gmail.com if you think someone else has accessed it.
- One person or business per account. Don’t share or resell accounts.
5. Your data
You own the data you enter — customers, works, notes, photos, stock and invoices (“your data”). You give us permission to store and process it only to run the service for you. We don’t sell your data and we don’t contact your customers.
You are responsible for having the right to store your customers’ details (for example, that they gave you their number for the job) and for using them lawfully. Invoices you create are your own documents; you are responsible for their correctness, including tax (GST) details.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the service for anything illegal, fraudulent, or to harass or spam anyone;
- upload content you don’t have the right to, or that is harmful, obscene or infringes others’ rights;
- try to break, overload, scrape or reverse-engineer the service, or access other users’ data;
- use automated tools to create accounts or send messages.
We may suspend or close accounts that break these rules, after notice where reasonable.
7. Availability and backups
We work hard to keep the service available and to back up data regularly, but we cannot promise it will always be uninterrupted or error-free. Please export important data from time to time (Account › Your data).
8. Notifications and messages
If you switch on push notifications we will send reminders and summaries to your device. You can turn them off any time. Sharing an invoice on WhatsApp or by email happens from your own device or with your customer’s address you provide; message content is your responsibility.
9. Liability
The service is provided “as is”. To the extent allowed by law, VipzLab is not liable for indirect or consequential losses (such as lost profit or lost business) arising from use of the service. While the service is free, our total liability for any claim is limited to ₹1,000. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
10. Ending your account
You can delete your account any time from Account & security. This permanently removes your data (see Data Deletion). We may end the service with at least 60 days’ notice, giving you time to export your data.
11. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. For important changes we will notify you by email or in the app before they take effect. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the updated Terms.
12. Law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts in Kerala, India will have jurisdiction, subject to any rights you have under consumer protection law.
